    This project will provide funds for the installation of an interconnection pipeline between two water treatment plants to strengthen the resiliency of the water system and protect residents from the impact of wildland fires in the five source water watersheds. This pipeline is vital to provide emergency treated water to Northern Colorado communities and agricultural producers to reduce risks of disasters, strengthen food security, and, ultimately, save lives.

    Construction of an Oil & Gas Demonstration Wellhead Assembly Site and Equipment for Simulated-Based Learning for Industrial Technology and Energy Studies and Oil & Gas Programs

    The funding would be used to enhance experiential learning for students in Aims Community College’s Industrial Technology and Energy Studies (ITES) and Oil & Gas (O&G) programs to bolster workforce development in Northern Colorado. This project would construct and install a full wellhead assembly to serve as a demonstration site for students to gain valuable hands-on training experience. This project also invests in innovative educational equipment to expand the current capabilities of the classrooms and laboratories to incorporate simulation-based learning. Aims is located in Weld County, which produces 83% of oil and 56% of natural gas in Colorado. This project will better prepare students and community members to pursue high-paying jobs in local energy and manufacturing industries, which face chronic workforce shortages.

    Weld County Road 7 Paving Project - Mead to Berthoud

    This funding would be used for the reconstruction and paving of approximately two miles of Weld County Road 7 (WCR7), which is currently a gravel road. Proposed improvements include a 32-foot-wide asphalt paved roadway with appropriate 3:1 side slopes and stormwater/drainage ditches on each side. This investment provides crucial long-term safety, mobility, and system preservation advantages that align with state and regional transportation goals. This section of WCR7 is often used as a bypass to 1-25 during times of heavy congestion, and the upcoming 5-year reconstruction of I-25 segment 5 heightens the immediate need for this project to relieve traffic congestion and enhance safety of motorists, construction personnel, and emergency responders.

    Goat Hill Drainage and Roadway Improvement Project

    The funding would be used to improve stormwater drainage and roadway safety in the Goat Hill neighborhood. Improvements to the most high-need roadway sections include widening roadways, installing curbs and gutters, updating sidewalks (including ramps and facilities in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act), securing pedestrian crossings, relocating objects in the right-of-way and existing utilities, and upgrading the stormwater drainage systems, including the incorporation of stormwater quality treatment facilities. This project will deliver long-term solutions to immediate needs prioritizing safety and mobility in this community in unincorporated Adams County that has been long overlooked and under-invested.

    I-76 and Bromley Lane Capital improvement Project

    The funding will be used to replace the existing stop-control traffic configuration with new traffic signals and other safety improvement measures at the I-76 and Bromley Lane interchange. With signaled interchange control, dedicated turn phases, and improved lighting on the roadway, this project will improve safety in Brighton’s rapidly growing community. This project is an appropriate use of taxpayer funds because it will reduce accidents and improve traffic conditions in one of Brighton’s most heavily trafficked intersections.

    Expanding Quantum Workforce by Creating Advanced Manufacturing Pathways

    The funding would be used to expand advanced manufacturing pathways to Adams County at the Iver C. Ranum Innovation Campus, in direct partnership with Front Range Community College (FRCC). This partnership will provide hands-on, early exposure to automation, engineering, and advanced manufacturing technology, starting in 10th grade, for students and adult learners further specialize in quantum and mechatronics. Beyond its immediate impact, this project is an appropriate use of taxpayer funds because it sustains long-term workforce development in Adams County. As Colorado continues to position itself as a national leader in advanced manufacturing, this project will strengthen the local talent pipeline, ensuring that jobs and economic growth remain within the state. By aligning workforce development with regional industry needs, this initiative will provide lasting benefits for students, employers, and the broader economy.

    Northstar Neighborhood Mobility Improvement Project

    E. 88th Avenue Corridor Improvement Project – Segment B

    The funding would be used to create a safe multimodal travel corridor for residents and commuters along the vital 88th Avenue, between Interstate 76 and Colorado State Highway 2 and two blocks of Rosemary Street, by improving current and future traffic operations. The 88th Avenue corridor is currently a two-lane street lacking multimodal facilities and shoulders and often faces significant congestion that creates delays for travelers, including freight and emergency response vehicles. The project will improve the flow of traffic for daily commuters, implement safe travel lanes for pedestrians and cyclists in the neighborhood, and contribute to the economic prosperity of our community.

    35th Avenue Multimodal Safety Enhancements

    The funding would be used for targeted improvements to multimodal safety at four intersections along the 35th Ave corridor including 16th St, 20th St, 22nd St, and 25th St. This section of the 35th Ave corridor is on the City of Greeley's High Injury Crash network. This project would implement specific safety interventions for long-term relief, designed to improve vehicle safety, enhance safety for vulnerable road users, mitigate speeding, and improve intersection lighting. This section serves as an important connection for students as well, providing access to the Greeley West High School as well as nearby elementary schools, parks, and other important community destinations.

    Chambers Road Improvements: Right-of-Way Acquisition

This project will allow for significant safety improvements on a roadway that provides critical connections to travelers and residents in Commerce City.

    This project will mitigate congestion, resolve safety deficiencies, and establish multimodal infrastructure to address community needs and safety concerns on Weld County Road (WCR) 13 and WCR20 in the Town of Frederick. This project will immediately provide safety interventions to the primary corridor in the rapidly growing Tri-Town area including Frederick, Firestone, and Dacono. WCR13 and WCR20 are experiencing increasing strain due to the significant population growth in the Northern Front Range, which has led to critical deficiencies in traffic operations, multimodal connectivity, and safety along this essential route.

    The funding would be used for Stage II construction of Taxiway Bravo, the Bravo 1 connector, and the connecting segment to Taxiway Echo to enable long-term airfield development program and significantly enhance the operational capacity, efficiency, and safety of the airport. This project aligns with the airport’s broader strategic growth plan, which forecasts the creation of over 4,600 jobs and $1.3 billion in annual visitor-related spending through expanded airport operations and associated economic development throughout the City of Greeley, Weld County, and the Northern Colorado region.
