Seniors
We must keep the promises we made to our seniors. My parents rely on Social Security, so I know firsthand how important it is to preserve the benefits seniors have earned. We must protect Social Security and I support efforts to make Social Security tax-free.
I support Social Security and Medicare benefits, and I will work to ensure seniors receive the money for which they spent their whole lives working. Currently, as a result of skyrocketing prices, seniors’ benefits don’t go as far as they used to. That’s why we have to bring down the overall cost of living in Colorado. Finally, I support a free market approach that encourages competition and innovation to lower prescription drug prices for seniors.
