Agriculture and Production
My wife and I own and operate a family farm in southern Weld County, playing just a small part in Colorado’s $47 billion agriculture sector. As a beef producer myself, I have the backs of our farmers and ranchers who are feeding the world.
Colorado’s 8th Congressional District is a hub for agriculture. Weld County leads the state in agricultural production and is one of the top 10 agricultural counties in the nation. Both Weld and Adams counties are the heart of food processing and transportation in Colorado. Adams County makes 1/3 of Colorado’s gasoline, half the diesel, 1/3 of the jet fuel at Denver International Airport, and 90% of the asphalt for the state. Production in our district helps keep the rest of Colorado fed and moving.
I am proud to support policies in Congress that empower Colorado’s farmers and agriculture industry.
