Rep. Gabe Evans Presented with CropLife's State Leadership Award
Congressman Gabe Evans was recently awarded CropLife America’s State Leadership Award at Schlagel Farms in Colorado. The award highlights Evans’ work in the state legislature for strengthening and advancing crop protection in the state legislature, specifically for his attempts to roll back state pesticide preemption.
The award was presented by Sundari Kraft and Colorado farmers Paul Schlagel, Scott Schlagel, and Erik Frank.

CO-08 is a hub for agriculture. Weld County leads the state in agricultural production and is one of the top 10 agricultural counties in the nation.
Evans is a member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, making history as the first incoming freshman appointed to the committee in 14 years. The last freshman appointed was then-Rep. Cory Gardner.
